Recently, it was announced that people who cheat or under paid bus fare will be fine ( $ 20 ) and they had to pay on the spot.
What happen if the bus company over charge you. I had this encounter before but what the staff at the bus terminal told me was to claim from somewhere ( North bridge Rd ..something like that ) ...... over charge by 10 or 20 cents ....do we bother...imagine the bus fare we take to reach there and the time taken....I guess nobody really bother.......so why can't this people refund us on the spot.
A Warning to people using Translink card....check your journey?????....SBS 182...one bus that over charge.!!!!!

Bus Fare Hike
I do not understand why there is a need to raise bus fare when the ecomony is not looking good. Not long ago, SMRT announced " record earning " So why ????? need to raise fare.
On top of that " Quote from LTA Mr Geoffrey Lim, Deputy Director " With effect from July 1, 2008, the annual road tax for public buses has been further reduced by 15 per cent. With this kind of reduction...I don't think is necessery for them to raise fare this time.
